Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

Welcome To The Illinois P-20 Council

The Illinois P-20 Council was established by the legislature in 2009 to foster collaboration among state agencies, education institutions, local schools, community groups, employers, taxpayers, and families, and to collectively identify needed reforms to develop a seamless and sustainable statewide system of quality education and support. The "P" in our name represents Preschool and "20" stands for grade 20, education after college.

Our Goal

To increase the proportion of adults in Illinois with
high-quality degrees and credentials to 60% by
the year 2025.

In the fall of 2022, the P-20 Council launched two new project-based working groups (PBWGs) . Each group will spend several months working on developing recommendations to address specific issues within the field. The first two PBWGs are focused on Strengthening the Teacher Pipeline and Scaling K-12 Computer Science. Interested in joining one of our  working groups?
